Project duration: March 2010 – December 2024
The civil electrical project was one of the most significant in its scope in our company’s history, right after the Technological Delivery for the Mochovce NPP Completion project. On December 3, 2024, this chapter was concluded by signing the Acceptance Protocol for Part 2 of the Civil Electrical Project. The final transfer of the work for permanent use, encompassing the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the electrical components for the nuclear island of Units 3 and 4 of Mochovce NPP. 3. a 4. bloku JE Mochovce v časti jadrový ostrov.
Our activities:
Project and Assembly Documentation:
- Execution project documentation for lighting, heavy-current distribution systems, lightning protection systems, and earthing and as-built documentation
- Test programs
- Inspection and Test Plans for delivery, assembly, and tests, Assembly Organisation Plans, technological procedures and manuals
- Reports, and background documentation for junction boxes, switches, sockets, cables, and earthing
- Redline markup, accompanying technical documentation, and as-built design
- OH&S program, training program for the Client’s staff, time schedules, etc.
Coordination Activities:
- Coordination of works and tests including follow-up activities
- Coordination of subcontractors’ schedule with the Client’s schedule
- Coordination of assembly and tests
- Daily monitoring and evaluation of schedule and its updates
- Preparing fire permits, and work permits
- Coordination of safety on the construction site
- Quality assurance
Procurement, Installation, and Testing:
- Anchor plates to support items and cable routes
- Lighting fixtures and switches
- Distribution boards and welding boxes
- Supplying, laying, connecting, and testing power cables
- Testing working, standby, and emergency lighting outlets both inside and outside the hermetic zone of the main reactor building
- Installation of lightning protection and grounding systems across all Nuclear Island structures
- Installation of welding network and socket circuits
